Hartlepool Carers’ Hospital Liaison Project is going from strength to strength. Set up to engage and register Carers at our stands in North Tees and Hartlepool Hospitals, we have registered around 200 Carers since April this year, including several hospital staff who are also carers in their own lives. Hartlepool Carers would like to place on record a huge thank you to North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Trust for their foresight in giving us the opportunity to have a presence in the hospitals which see countless Carers passing through, either as visitors, outpatients or in-patients.
Look out for Hartlepool Carers if you are visiting North Tees & Hartlepool Hospitals.
Every Wednesday & Thursday we have a team member available to offer information and advice to unpaid Carers living in the town.
You can find staff & volunteer at the stalls where you can Register and apply for a Carers Access and Emergency Card.

‘It is also vitally important that we extend our thanks to staff in the wards and clinics for their support in making sure Carers are aware of Hartlepool Carers and signposting them to register. We couldn’t do it without you all!’
