Our wonderful CEO, Christine, has some special words in celebration of our birthday, Carers Week and mostly in celebration of all the incredible Carers that we help every day..
“Hartlepool Carers has been operating in Hartlepool for 30 years this year!
Caring can be exhausting leaving little time to recharge your own batteries and take some time to relax and enjoy something for you!
Hartlepool Carers are here (and have been for many years) to give opportunities, information and guidance and ensure all carers are identified at the earliest opportunity.
Under the Care Act 2014, all unpaid carers are entitled to an assessment of need, to look at support available to help them live well.
One of my annual highlights is arranging our programme of activities to celebrate National Carers Week! Giving all carers the chance to come along take part in an activities, eat some great food and take time to reflect on the amazing work they are doing.
