How we can help

Supporting carers in their role

Raising awareness of caring in our community is really important to us. We know over 12,000 people provide unpaid care in Hartlepool and we need to ensure our community understand what this means.

In partnership with Hartlepool Borough Council we now can provide everyone with free training. We have recently rolled out a new Awareness Training course for all carers that can be accessed below.

The course can be done in your own time and at your own pace. We encourage all businesses, schools, and community partners to take up this training to ensure we can support our community at the earliest opportunity.

Our previous training courses can also be accessed below. We have two courses you can access including

  • Adult Carer Aware Course
  • Young Carer Aware Training

Both of these courses can also be done in your own time and at your own pace.

We provide a range of workshops to support carers around their caring role.

We also understand many Carers are keen to take part in learning and workshops to support them in their caring role. Working with carers we host a range of sessions throughout the year.

We also work with partners to support carers into learning to help develop skills. Get in-touch with us to find out more.
