We are proud to be working towards our Bronze Accreditation for the North East Better Health at Work Award.
The aim of the award is to promote a healthy lifestyle for our employees both within and outside of the workplace. We are committed to providing our employees with the tools and information to make good health decisions.
We will be consulting with employees to discover which issues are important to the workforce and reviewing our policies and procedures in the workplace to become a healthy working environment.
We will also be training ‘Health Advocates’ within the workforce. A Health Advocate is someone who is passionate about health and well-being, wants to help raise awareness of health topics, and contribute to developing a positive well-being culture in the workplace – and even beyond.
