We are delighted to announce we have our first qualified Better Health at Work Award Advocate.
We commenced work on the Better Health at Work Award qualification at the beginning of the year, and had five members of staff booked on to complete training in April. Sadly, due to the pandemic, this was put on hold but our Community Development Lead, Sarah Rowntree, has completed her training virtually.
Sarah found the training really useful and is excited to put some of the ideas into practise onto return to the office this month. Whilst the staff have been working remotely we have been doing our best to look after staffs mental, physical and emotional health virtually – with weekly staff meetings, regular welfare checks and the sharing of knowledge and best practise via emails.
We have also set ourselves a hydration challenge and several members of staff have signed up to the Hartlepool Carers Virtual Run – a walk/run/cycle of either 2, 5 or 10k.
