Carers UK estimate that up to one in eight people aged over 16 in the community will have taken on some form of care and responsibility for another person. Three in five of us will become carers at the same point in our lives.

Hartlepool carers have provided support to over 1500 carers in the past years. We currently have 562 adult carers, 91 young carers and 26 active volunteers registered with our organisation.
